Review and Commentary On Another List Of Wasteland Encounters From Fish Wife Games For Your Old School Post Apocalyptic Campaigns

Grab It Right Over
HERE

So I download this book just the other day to start filling out background NPC's for my players to run into in an up coming campaign of Mutant Epoch. The drill here is very simple, roll up a couple of encounters per trail, fill in a few unexpected quick encounters, and let the dice fall where they may for the rest.
The formula isn't new or original but it works well for a cinematic style of post apocalyptic adventure. For the price of a coffee you get a nice and well rounded list of rogues, regular folk, and more to fill out your Mutant haunted lands. This is a pretty solid list and a step up from the first random list from Dave Woodrum's pen.

Using Another List of Wasteland Encounters
For Your Old School Post Apocalyptic Campaigns

This is a great product to use for random and slash dash encounters with a party during random encounter areas, there's enough variety to really pull the rug from under players expecting the usual XYZ approach to the DM's game's. After all familiarity breeds complacency in post apocalyptic gaming.
Other uses for this list are within certain urban ruins and high grade city encounters when you need a lone straggler to hook the party into a mini loot raid or other encounter situation. The list can also be used to generate survivors or others after raiders have gotten done with an area as well and you need a straggler or two with a story for the party. All in all this one is step up from its predecessor and a nice little step up for an encounter list. Nicely worth the price of admission.
